Whole Grade A Vanilla pods from Sri Lanka are meticulously hand-selected and undergo a fine curing process, sealed in tubes for freshness. These Vanilla Pods originate from the Vanilla Planifolia species of vanilla orchid, commonly known as Bourbon-Madagascar vanilla. They boast a rich black/dark brown color, maintaining a humidity level of 20-25%, and weigh approximately 10g each.
Perfect for various culinary endeavors, these premium pods enhance the flavors of baked goods, ice cream, custards like creme brulee, creme Anglaise, and creme caramel, as well as pastry work.
